DAY 1: After you have received the car from your rental company Depar Rent a Car, you can start your one day excursion with the Varda (German) viaduct, which is a great architectural work. At morning, you can move where there are Bungalow-type wooden houses in touch with nature for breakfast, which have been made by the Karaisalı Municipality for tourism purposes. After breakfast, have a short walk in nature through the Kapıkaya Canyon, and to the Varda Viaduct, which was used for the movie James Bond-Skyfall, and then come back to the centrum for panoramic photography in free time and for relaxation.  Set off to see the squares of Little Clock and Great Clock Tower, which are highly-dense venues, and visit the Oil Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in the city, and the Boilersmith Bazaar. Visit by walking the Great Clock Tower, the Ramazanoğlu Mansion dating back to the times of Ramazanoğlu Seignory, and the Grand Mosque and Madrasah dating back to the time of that Seignory. Then, walk to the former High School for Girls, which is located by the Seyhan river and used as a cultural centre, and the Stone Bridge, which is one of the oldest bridges in use in the world, the Theatre Museum, and the Ataturks's House, which was presented to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk by the Ramazanoğlu family. Go to the Sabancı Central Mosque, which is a splendid work, and walk through the Central Park by car. After that, visit the Women's Terrace, Seyhan Dam Lake, and Watergate, and the campus of the Çukurova University. Visit the Shrine of Shepherd Grandpa, where the Adanian people visit for making wishes, the Dam Lake side, the Çatalan Bridge, which was launched for use in 2002 and which is the longest bridge thanks to its length of 1575 meters in Turkey, the New Adana districts that are the modern face of Adana, the Baraj Yolu boulevard, Atatürk Park, and the Dörtyol area, one by one.  Don’t end your trip without tasting Adana kebap, drinking the Adana turnip juice, Bici bici and in the evening Şırdan and Kokoreç.

2. Day Mersin Tour

If you have 2- days travel program you can visit Mersin Maiden’s Castle. Heaven & Hell, Pomegranate well ( porto calamie), Olba ancient city.  After a panoramic city tour, travel in touch with history, nature and sea accompanied by fascinating view. Visiting Canytelis and Sebastian, which are situated on the way, arrive at Maiden’s Castle. After panoramic photo shooting break, visit of Heaven and Hell Ruins which is formed of big holes caused by the chemical erosion collapse of ceiling of underground stream. Then visit the Olba Ancient City which is equally good as Efes Ancient City, after visiting Church of Ayatekla, which is considered the first woman nun by the Christians, depart for Pomegranate Well, which is considered one of the most beautiful bay in the world, for lunch. There are magnificent restaurants (Kerim Restaurant-İnci Restaurant-Orfoz Restaurant and such) where you can taste delicious varied sea foods and then drink your teas in view of the bay.

DAY 3: ISKENDERUN (ALEXANDRETTA) & ANTAKYA (ANTIOCH) TOUR

If you have 3- days travel program you can visit on the 3rd day Iskenderun, historically known as Little Alexandria, upon arrival you can give a short break to walk along the beach. After, continue towards Samandağ – Çevlik (Seleucia Pieria) situated beside Mediterranean. See Titus tunnel, which is the world’s first tunnel, and Roman tomb structures carved in rock. Then go through Samandağ County and reach Harbiye, historical name Daphne. Here, we suggest you first of all to go down to the waterfall. After drinking your teas accompanied by the beautiful nature and sound of stream, you can have free time to shop at stores regarding sericulture. After eating your lunch accompanied by the rich appetizers that we will taste from Antioch’s Middle East cuisine, tour St. Pierre Church, which was built in a cave where Saint Peter, one of the disciples of Jesus who came to Antioch in 29-30 A.D., used it for preaching to spread Christianity and is known as the first gathering place for Christians, situated on Habib Neccar mountain foots. After this tour, go to Antioch Mosaic Museum which is situated close by and when opened completely; it will gain the title of being the largest mosaic museum in the world. Look at the artifacts displayed in chronological order from Stone Age till recent past. Followed visit the Eski şehir (Oldcity) centre and first, visit Habib Neccar Mosque and Shrine. Habib Neccar is one of the first people to have become Christian and has been martyrised while protecting its disciples from Romans. Habib Neccar is mentioned in Yasin sura in the Quran and according to the belief; it is the first mosque in Anatolia. After this precious place, reach Catholic Church by strolling through old streets of Antioch. Afterwards learning things about this small and pretty church, you can have a visit to Synagoge and Orthodox Church.  After touring the three religious spots, which live in harmony, of this province, you can have free time for shopping at the Long Bazaar and can complete your trip.
